We are finally wrapping up our English Hill East project with this girls’ shared navy bathroom! If you missed any of the other rooms from this project, you can check them out here: Guest Bedroom // Modern Guest Bathroom // Laundry Room // Tween Girls’ Bedroom
The goal with this bathroom was to create a space for two sisters that, much like their shared bedroom, was appealing to both. We faced a couple of challenges here: implementing enough space-saving storage for all of their bath products, and creating a lot of light without any natural light source to work with.
We brightened things up with these beautiful LED lights and this fun watercolor plaid wallpaper. We added extra storage to this custom vanity by adding in extra drawers and installing medicine cabinets.
It was important to make sure this space was beautiful and feminine without being overly girly so we brought in this rich navy hue to the cabinets and paired it with neutral whites and grays throughout the wallpaper and tile. To bring in some depth, we mixed metals which is a trick we often use. Fluffy pink towels added in just the right touch of classic femininity.
