The project reveal for English Hill East continues! Today I’m revealing the guest bedroom. My clients have a beautiful home in Redmond, WA but with four growing children, they needed more space and didn’t have anywhere for guests to stay. We built an addition to their home including this spacious guest bedroom with lots of beautiful natural light.
Can you imagine waking up here and letting the morning light stream in as you sip on your coffee? I was going for a serene, inviting feel to this bedroom and kept the palette soft and warm with my signature select pops of darker hues. There is no better feeling than staying somewhere cozy and inviting, and we were so pleased to accomplish this with this space.
One of my favorite parts of the bedroom were these beautiful built-ins. As a guest, it’s always nice to have a book on hand while you’re on vacation, and having access to a bookshelf in your own room makes it convenient and fun.
We added a beautiful linen bed with soft, luxurious-feeling bedding from Parachute. The side tables are equipped with plug-ins, which is perfect for the guest who forgets their phone charger—we all know someone who is constantly forgetting their charger!
Thanks so much for checking out our English Hill East project—I can’t wait to reveal the rest of this project with you! Just in case you missed it, here’s the laundry room reveal. More to come!
