Today I’m continuing to share my English Hill East project room-by-room with this girl’s bedroom design. Shared by two sisters who are a few years apart and into different things (one still into dolls and toys, and the other, a sporty tween), my goal was to create a tween girls’ bedroom that would appeal to both of them, and grow along with them.
I kept things neutral, but sophisticated and fun with a splash of pink atop the beadboard, and darker accents here and there. The beadboard itself brought in some texture to the space, along with the duvet cover, fun throw pillows, and woven wall hanging and boho-inspired pouf. P.S. How cute is their dog?!
The windows got custom Roman shades installed and the comfy cream swivel chair is perfect for lounging in.
Don’t you wish your childhood bedroom looked this stylish? My childhood bedroom had a Tom Cruise poster up for too many years to count and I painted the walls bright cherry red, so I got to live a bit vicariously through this design project!
It was such a pleasure to be able to bring to life a space that I know those girls will make a lot of precious memories in. That is the real joy in doing what I do.
