Trailside NW Modern Primary Bedroom and Bath

As we roll out all of the spaces from our project with national builder Tri Pointe Homes, it’s now time to reveal the NW Modern primary bedroom and bath from #TrailsideNWModern! In case you missed it, here’s the primary bedroom and bath from the other model, #TrailsideCoastalModern.

This bedroom was actually my favorite of the two homes I designed for Tri Pointe. We went with a big statement choice with the canopy style bed then pulled in a pair of matching nightstands, a soft, sheer tan for the window treatments and a pair of tall statement-making concrete lights. The dresser is simple with a big art piece. Since I went with a four-poster bed I went with a simple linear linen jump shade for the light. In the bedroom’s sitting area, I got this cute reading chair for, a fun ottoman and a modern reading light.

In the bathroom, I wanted it to feel modern and spa-like. I fell in love with the porcelain tiles with the beautiful brown finish and subtle white veining throughout that makes it feel very natural. I started the design of the primary bathroom around that brown tile and then incorporated the nice modern slab cabinet and a simple grayish-brown countertop. In the shower I chose a river rock mosaic tiles for the shower floor and a large plank tile for an accent for the surround, which I also used as an accent behind the vanity. For the lighting, I picked a simple, modern, white pendant and a simple, modern, tall slab mirror.
