I don’t know about you, but after months of relentless rain here in Seattle, I am ready for some SUNSHINE and warmer weather! I’ve been slowly saving hotels over on Instagram that give me the travel bug and thought I’d round up a few favorites to share with you. Some of these places are outrageous, some are a bit more realistic, and ALL are making me want to hop on the next plane out of here! Here we go: 10 hotels around the world I want to stay in!
Taj Lake Palace, India
The Taj Lake Palace in Udaipur, India is a place that calls me for the pool alone. The opulent interiors aren’t my thing, but it is housed in an 18th-century historic palace, and it would be so fun lounging here in the sun, don’t you think?
Les Sources de Caudalie, France
Love the European style at Les Sources de Caudalie – yes, THAT Caudalie that makes great skincare products (love their cleansing foam!) Their hotel looks like a dream come true; it offers thousands of options on the wine list, a spa with treatments featuring “Vinothérapie“, and a Michelin-starred restaurant on the grounds. Kinda sounds like an adult Disneyland!
Cavo Tagoo, Santorini, Greece
“Santorini? No, thanks.” Said no one, ever. This one needs to be seen via video – those caldera views at Cavo Tagoo are giving me liiife. I would plan on spending every night out here to watch the sunset and not even bother fighting the crowds in Oia.
Auberge du Soleil, Napa, CA
This place had me fooled for a bit – I thought it was in France but turns out, it’s actually in Napa! The rooms are gorgeously neutral and the hotel is nestled in acres of olive and oak trees. I can already picture an amazing wine vacation here – so dreamy.
Grand Hotel a Villa Feltrinelli, Italy
The Grand Hotel a Villa Feltrinelli is on the shores of Lake Garda looks like a little slice of heaven. The sprawling grounds would be absolutely magical to explore and the vintage rooms look so fun to stay in.
Belmond La Residencia, Mallorca, Spain
Mountains, the Mediterranean, and views like this? Where do I sign up? This place looks like pure fantasy! I would love to go there in Spring when everything is in bloom!
Monteverdi, Tuscany, Italy
I’ve been following Monteverdi Tuscany for a while now, and every time one of their photos pops up in my feed, I find myself dreaming up my own Under the Tuscan Sun tale where I too own a Tuscan villa that I’m remodeling!
Stella Island Crete, Greece
I’ve heard nothing but good things about Crete, and who wouldn’t want to stay in a hotel that looks like this? I would eat ALL THE GREEK FOOD, and swim, and quite possibly plan on never coming home if I stayed here.
San Luis Retreat Hotel & Lodges, Italy
This hotel looks like it would make the backdrop for a perfect winter getaway. Located in Italy, the San Luis Retreat Hotel & Lodges offers luxury treehouses and chalets. I took a peek at some of the photos of the rooms and they are modern rustic at its finest. And their indoor pool is beyond amazing, centered around a huge fireplace.
