Neutral Nursery Design Ideas To Inspire You

More and more families are opting for neutral nursery design rather than the standard pink and blue of the past, and it’s easy to see why: neutrals can more easily blend into the rest of the home, they naturally lend themselves to being soothing and calm spaces, and the best part is they can easily be reused for future children without too much fuss.

Neutral Nursery Design #1: Modern Look

Design by: @leclairdecor

I love the modern vibes from this sweet nursery design by Le Clair Decor. The artwork is so fun and the crib itself is a beautiful focal point—those unique slats make it extra interesting. The mix of tones and patterns here are similar enough to work together but different enough to liven up the space.

Neutral Nursery Idea #2: Organic Oasis

I love the simplicity here—this goes to show you don’t need a lot of artwork to make a space look complete. Here a beautiful tree and statement lighting on either side of the crib balance this look and that plush rug anchors the room. Such a sweet space for a little one!

Neutral Nursery Design #3: Bright and Beautiful

This is just one side of a nursery by Mint and Pine Design, and it is absolutely gorgeous! I love how bright and airy this room looks, and the organization on those built-ins is top-notch. The sweet reading nook up on the window sill is sure to be loved for years, who wouldn’t love this room?!

Neutral Nursery Idea #4: Simple Serenity

The most important aspect of a nursery is that it makes mom and baby feel calm since they will be the ones spending the most time there! This space is so serene and has just the right amount of simplicity while still being totally gorgeous.

Neutral Nursery Design #5: Muted Rainbows

The muted rainbow trend is everywhere lately and I am kinda into it! I love that it’s a fun way to inject a bit of color, while still letting me be firmly in my neutral-loving camp. I’m also really into the textured rug and big pom-poms on that throw pillow.

Neutral Nursery Idea #6: Sweet and Feminine

That wallpaper is everything! This is just the sweetest space and I love the mix of modern and vintage here (look at that dresser!) Just the sweetest space for a baby to grow up in.

Neutral Nursery Design #7: Naturally Neutral

Little Crown Interiors does the most incredible nursery design, and this is no exception! I love how she layered in rugs here for an ultra-cozy vibe, the pops of organic greenery, and that fun lighting.

Neutral Nursery Idea #8: Nautical and Nice

This is the nursery I designed for my youngest, Christian. I was going for a nautical theme here and actually picked up those oars in an antique shop in my home town years ago (long before babies!) and love how they add character, texture, and a visual story that a frame just can’t. You can see more photos and read more about this space here.
